Gothic Architecture (2020)-

A series of A3 paintings (also created during lockdown) which explore the synthesis of a figure with a building. These characters are essentially embodying the character of the architecture, such that it is unclear where the two are distinct. Having had a longstanding fascination with Gothic architecture, I incorporated gargoyles, green men, and examples of tracery windows including some from Canterbury Cathedral.
