Suns and Sea Creatures (2020)-

A series of lockdown paintings. After researching images of Medieval alchemical suns I was captured by the combination of surreal subject matter with a scientific, diagrammatical style. These images represent initial responses to these themes, with additional thought to tarot imagery.
