Swan Lino Prints (2021)

These lino prints were all created as part of a collection of work exploring swans in folklore and the idea of shapeshifting between human and swan form through the wearing of a magical garment, which was a theme in several traditional tales I looked at. These individual prints fed into a larger project which was the creation of the repeat print design for fabric, pictured at the bottom of the page- more about this project is explained here!

All the linocuts were printed by hand, including several reduction prints in various colour schemes.
